Moda Dea Pattern Books and Yarn
The Crochet Generation is leaving it's mark on pattern books - YAY! Moda Dea has an awesome pattern book available entitled, Fashion Collection 1 that has awesome crochet and knit patterns. Unlike most mixed technique books where it's 1 crochet scarf in a knit pattern book, this one has plenty of crochet designs and even a mixed knit/crochet pattern. I picked this one up at Michael's for around $6.00. If you'd like some nice crochet sweater patterns, this is an inexpensive little book packed with lots of good designs - there's an open neck sweater and a hoodie sweater. Two patterns are cable sweaters, one in crochet, one in knit - love the mix! If you love sweaters, crochet and a nice pinch of knit thrown in- this is a good choice for you.

Since I'm in a "Moda Dea" mood - I'm going to mention my favorite yarn - Metro! Oh man, this yarn is soooo soft and fluffy that it just makes my eyes roll up in the back of my head! I'm particularly enamored of the varigated orange "Sunset" - wonderful warm oranges are just the flavor to warm up a rainy fall day!
